One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ already down 112lbs since I started the process last March. Coming from a family that has done gastric bypass surgeries, they also noted how great JourneyLite is. The guidance they give you through the process makes both the pre & post-op easier. My experience with Journeylite has been nothing but wonderful! From the first phone call I made, to ask questions to begin my journey to a healthier weight, to my post-operative period. The staff were always quick to respond to my texts whenever I had questions. And Dr. Augusta was very nice and easy to talk to from the first time I met him. He came to see me before surgery and the morning after surgery and texted me to check on me a couple weeks after surgery. The whole journey has been very pleasant. I looked into a couple of other surgeons offices and started their programs and it wasn’t ever a good fit. I didn’t think I’d ever have this surgery. I did some research and came across this office and they have been so attentive to my concerns and health after the procedure. I haven’t had any major issues that have been due to anything they have done, but my body wasn’t adjusting well in the beginning and they remained one text or call away if I needed anything. I live over three hours away from their location and I still feel like my needs have been met better than my local surgeon options here. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Also dr. Augusta is a great surgeon. I think I was 268 when I did my surgery oct 13 and it’s feb 6 and I’m down to 200.
