I had the VSG procedure in April of 2024 and highly recommend Dr. Curry and JourneyLite! The entire team was kind, compassionate, and helpful throughout the entire process. Since I had to travel to get to Cincinnati, I stayed in a hotel nearby for two days before being released to go home, which calmed my husband’s worries about post-surgical recovery. I experienced no significant side effects from the surgery and feel 20 years younger! The team of dieticians and medical staff answered all of my questions and have kept me moving in the right direction. So far, I am 135 pounds down from my highest weight and I could not have done it without the support of Dr. Curry and the JourneyLite team!

They followed up with me the next day to make sure I was still doing ok. The whole process from the day I decided to go with them through now (I’m 2 days post op) was amazing. I love having the support of an RD, doctors, and other staff that always answered my questions/concerns in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone considering bariatric procedure. Update I am three weeks postop and the courtesy and service I received before is as great as it is after. You’re well educated on what to do both before and after the surgery. Pain was minimal. I was up and walking across the purple people bridge the next day. I am so glad for this procedure. I have not had any complications and within the first week I noticed that my hypertension had resolved I have not needed medications and I am so grateful for that. Wonderful all around.
