Rivage Day Spa Birmingham

My first time going, I went for my birthday and had such a phenomenal experience!! Originally when i called for a specific day and time they were booked but i asked the receptionist to put me on their cancellation list & she did!! She ended up calling me back with a perfect date & time. When i got there everyone at the front desk was so nice and gave me compliments, just really sweet!! The host as well was super nice & made me feel comfortable the entire time from the time she greeted me at the front up until i left!! ( i think her name was Raegan, i can’t remember ) . My masseuse was great as well. ( i can’t remember her name either but i know it started with an M ) This was my first time getting a massage EVER so i was a little nervous just because i didn’t know how it goes but she explained everything to me THOROUGHLY, and asked me if i had any spots i wanted to focus on, asked my preferences on some things and made me feel so comfortable for my first time!! So much so i went to sleep. Im very big on energy and aura as well and she just was so kind!! I told her it was my birthday in passing conversation & she told the host that it was my birthday , therefore when my massage was over she walked me out into the resting area and the host was bringing out a cupcake to me 🥹🥹. I’m definitely going back & cant wait. thank you guys!!

I received a classic manicure /cashmere pedicure today. It was by far superior to other services I received at another facility. Staff was very hospitable— anticipating my needs before I could even ask for anything. Front desk was nice— the spa attendants were amazing. The ambiance is set once you arrive and is seamless. The facility is clean. My service provider was Samantha who is incredible. She pays attention to detail. What I really liked is how quiet my service was this morning— I was the only one there and it really helped me to be able to relax. You don’t have to talk or make small talk if you don’t want which is another really nice thing to have. One of the reasons why I took a star off is because there was an advertised special at the time of my booking if you book a cashmere pedicure you get half off a manicure. I was told by the booking staff this is old. No offer to honor or for something else or other specials. If it’s listed it should have been honored especially if I can prove it. Also— I went into the locker room just to use the bathroom and the guests were a bit chatty and stared at me as if I didn’t belong and in such a small space it was just a lot. That part they can’t help but if I had to Improve those would be the things. All in all — I would still go back and have made another appt to have service with Samantha.

I booked a spa day for myself to celebrate two years of being healthy after heart surgery and I was not disappointed. The facilities are beautiful, clean, and relaxing, and everyone I interacted with was helpful and friendly. The robe was fluffy and warm, and I enjoyed relaxing in the waiting area with my book and a glass of champagne. I booked a 60 minute massage and the red light facial, and both were excellent! Molly, who did my facial, was so friendly and knowledgeable. She took time to listen to my skin concerns and recommended a simple, daily routine to follow. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed, and I am already dreaming of my next visit.

I am not local to Birmingham but received a gift card so I used it for a facial appointment after a long day at work. I was rushing to get there and the staff was ready for me when I arrived. From the time I walked in the door, I was pampered ... greeted immediately and escorted to the locker room where I had a comfy robe and slippers waiting...then drink options (including champagne!) and yummy treats in the lounge area. Katy was my esthetician and she was wonderful. After going over any concerns/requests for my appointment, she made sure that I had a relaxing experience and my skin glowed after the treatment. They have a variety of product options as well. From start to finish, it was a great experience and I can't wait to visit again! Highly recommend.

I’ve been to many spas and Rivage did not disappoint. I had a great first experience! I called to make an appointment. The young lady I spoke with was nice and the call went very smooth. My husband had surprised me with a gift card. They did require a credit card at the time of reservation; typical procedure for spas. I called Saturday and I was able to get in Monday with the nail tech I requested. Staci gave me one of the best pedicures I have ever had. She is very thorough and shows great attention to detail. Just what I love! She also very kind. The complementary beverage menu was a nice touch. It has many choices (I went with the peach matcha tea 😋)and the snacks/pastries were very good. My only negative… The spa could use a little maintenance. The couch in the waiting area shows normal wear but could benefit from a cleaning and the tile flooring in the ladies room is loose. Like the tiles aren’t adhered to the floor. But the spa was clean. The ladies were mopping the salty footprints while I was there. It smells amazing… like a spa. 😀 And it really is a beautiful space. My experience was great and I do plan to return soon for other services!
