OSVI Dermatology and Surgery Institute

Dr Salame was absolutely delightful in every way. Knowledgeable, professional, friendly and positive. I very much enjoyed my appointment and she set my mind at ease. The practice itself is professional and well run. My girlfriend has been telling me I should switch from my previous dermatologist to this one for years and I’m glad I finally listened to her. Everything about this practice and the doctors is first rate.

An excellent experience! OSVI should be the standard that other medical offices aspire to! I had a painful, egg sized sebaceous cyst on my back that I needed to have removed. I called OSVI in the morning at 9:00am and had an appointment to see Dr. Nicole Salame at 10:45am the same day! Upon arrival, the front office staff was very welcoming and as a first time patient I was handed an easy to use tablet instead of a clipboard and papers to fill out. I was offered a choice of refreshment while I waited to see the doctor which, was maybe 20 minutes from my arrival. Dr. Salame examined me and reviewed the ultrasound that I had brought. She offered to treat the cyst the same day!! I was provided with an estimate for the service (OSVI was not covered by my insurance) that I found very reasonable. She performed the surgery in office and her skill and care was just wonderful. She has excellent bedside manner and communicated openly before, during and after the procedure. I really appreciate that she always responded to my questions with empathy and professionalism. I never felt rushed! Something that is very rare with doctors these days. By 12:30 I was checking out of the office with my painful cyst gone!! I was given clear instructions on how to care for the wound and some sample ointment that was thoughtfully put in a little bag. Yes, even as a guy, little details like this matter because it shows that the staff are thinking about their patient's well being and not just performing a perfunctory job. I can't emphasize enough how everyone was so pleasant and how I felt like a valued patient. I returned in 2 weeks for a follow-up to remove the stiches and was informed that I was healing well. Today the surgical wound has almost disappeared with little to no scar and absolutely no complications. Overall, I am THRILLED with the results! I highly recommend OSVI for any of your dermatological needs! It was so refreshing to be treated like a valued patient with empathy and professionalism by the entire staff. Of course, I will return should I need any future dermatological care! I big thank you to Dr. Nicole Salame and your entire staff!!

Horrible staff and dermatologist office. This office of “dermatologists” made my wife’s skin condition worse. You wait forever, the Dr Shokeen is not professional neither are the front desk staff. They think people cannot hear them on TikTok behind the front desk but you can. They should stop speaking profanity when customers are around as well. The Dr just comes in (after making you wait) and acts all normal. The walls are thin, we already knew you forgot about us/ purposely took your time. This office is chaotic and I will not bring my wife back. Save your time and money and seek better dermatologists in either Beverly Hills or Santa Monica.

I highly recommend this location for your dermatology needs. I have thoroughly felt seen as patient and greatly appreciate how they listen, and answer questions and educate the patient to ensure they understand why their reasoning for their recommendations. I appreciate how they manage expectations and the front desk are phenomenal. I enjoy going to my appointments .

The UltraSound procedure went went well and the Tele-Conf Call with Doctor Raj was clear and informative. I am waiting for the test results & report to be sent so i can confer with my Doctor, Dr. Jill Wei of Santa Monica Family Physicians.
