I have been going to Long Island Weight Loss Center since 2001, and I can honestly say it has been a life-changing experience. NP Nancy is incredibly informative, supportive, and genuinely cares about her patients. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and always makes me feel comfortable and confident in my journey. Nancy continuously motivates me to be the best version of myself, and her guidance has helped me stay focused and committed over the years. In addition, the front desk and staff are always kind, welcoming, and friendly, which makes every visit a positive experience. I highly recommend Long Island Weight Loss Center to anyone looking for knowledgeable, compassionate care and real results.

It is always a pleasure coming to this office. I have been coming here for years. Many of the staff are extremely friendly and caring, and make you feel comfortable immediately. My provider Nancy is irreplaceable, I couldn’t recommend her more. She always works to provide information to me in a way I can understand and solutions as well as options. She is very easy to talk to and I feel she genuinely cares and it makes me happy to be a patient here. She’s a huge part of the reason behind my success. Without her support and guidance, there is absolutely no way I could have overcome many of the obstacles and challenges I have with my health. If you are looking to improve your health this is the place hands down. Coming here changed my entire mindset and outlook. Give them a call if you are ready to invest in yourself. If I could give zero stars, I would. Making an appointment at this center was a difficult personal step for me, and the experience was disheartening from start to finish. There is a palpable lack of care for patients; the entire process felt cold and "matter-of-fact," from the check-in to the intake. The most egregious issue was a lack of transparency regarding costs. When I called to schedule, I specifically asked if Medicare covered weight loss medications. The representative confirmed with a "hard yes." However, during the consultation, I was told Medicare does not cover these medications unless specific criteria are met—criteria I did not meet. When I realized I could not afford the out-of-pocket costs and asked to end the session and receive a refund for my $50 consultation fee, I was met with hostility by a staff member (presumably the Office Manager). She was dismissive of my time, claiming I had been there for an hour when I had only been there for 30 minutes. Most unprofessional of all, as I was walking through the waiting room to leave, she stood at the front with a smirk on her face and mockingly asked, “Are you sure our rep said that?” essentially calling me a liar in front of other patients. This center should seriously re-evaluate who they have representing them. Their lack of integrity regarding insurance coverage and their disrespectful treatment of patients is inexcusable.
