OMG, my experience before and after surgery was awesome. Christine is the face of the office, the front desk clerk. So friendly. Cyd, the coordinator, is the best with getting back with answering your questions and motivating you throughout your process. Kristina, the dietician, is very informative and has personality. Last but not least. Dr. B is the best at what he does. Bedside manners are impeccable. He broke everything down from what to expect and answering all questions. Showing different options and benefits of weight loss surgery. The program he offers follow you monthly for an entire year along with the dietician. They are one text or phone call away. You cannot ask for a better team.

This is the best place to go if you are struggling with your weight. Dr. Baptista and his staff stay in touch and involved with you from the first day you have your consultation to well over a year after whatever procedure route you take. Dr. Baptista himself explains the pros and cons of each procedure and what’s best for you as well as staying connected with you personally before and after the procedure. He doesn’t refer you to any other person on his staff until he is satisfied that you are taken care of. His staff are great and are definitely an extension of his commitment to professionalism and compassion towards your healthy lifestyle changes to ensure you live a healthier longer life. My experience with Dr. Baptista has been excellent! From my initial consultation to my VSG surgery and hiatal hernia repair in November 2025, he was very attentive and informative about my surgery and what to expect post-operatively. His dietician gave me the information I needed to have success after surgery, and his staff is always friendly and encouraging. Dr. Baptista did a fantastic job of the surgery and I had zero complications afterwards. The nurses that cared for me during my stay at the hospital had wonderful opinions of Dr. Baptista and how he treats his patients with so much care. My life has been changed for the better! I can walk 3 miles a day (at 63 years of age) whereas I had crippling nerve pain, due to obesity, in my leg prior to surgery that required medication. I’m now off of that medication completely! My lab work (cholesterol and triglycerides) show great improvements with my weight loss as well. Just 2 months post surgery and I’ve lost 34 lbs! I’m excited to continue this journey to better health. I would 100% recommend Dr Baptista to anyone considering bariatric surgery.
