Dr. Mia Cowan - MiBella Wellness Center

I am not here to bash or put this company down. I am here to share my story and experience with them. I informed my doctor and Mibella that I have alopecia and that my hair was thinning during my initial visit. I was prescribed testosterone hormone cream in November of 2025 that has a side affect of hair loss. January 2026 I had a follow up appointment about the cream. I expressed to the nurse that I pay out of pocket for treatment because I do not have insurance, and I am very disappointed that I was prescribed cream that made my hair come out.. I expressed to the nurse that I had to cut all my hair off due to me having a bald spot in the top middle of my head and my front hair line was almost nonexistent. After I expressed all of that I was told that I would be prescribed a higher dosage of the same cream that caused my hair to come out. I reached out to the doctors in the patient portal 3 times after that visit and I received no response at all. No phone call and no response in the portal. I paid for a subscription of the cream and I never received the cream from the subscription. I asked several times for a refund and I have not received a refund nor has anyone reached out to discuss my refund. I finally called on February 24,2026 to speak with someone to cancel all my future appointments at and to discuss my refund. No one answered so I left a detailed message and still did not receive a response. My appointment was canceled but still no response about my refund. I pray that my experience is a lesson learned for all parties involved.

New patient. Brittany was amazing the staff was nice. Four stars for the check-in process. I had to wait to be called into the building like during Covid. Once inside the waiting was very long to be called back for triage , and even longer to wait for Brittany to come in,but she’s very caring and concerned about her patients.

The nurse practitioner Britney and the doctor were so amazing!! I have never ever felt so comfortable letting someone else up in my business. They are very down to earth, While still remaining professional. I needed blood work right after my appointment. I walked around the corner and the lab had no wait! It was incredible. The lady who took my blood, got it on the first try and was super gentle. I probably told everyone I know about my appointment yesterday because I was so highly impressed with the care that they are giving.

I like this Wellness Center very much. I love that It's 'brown owned' and have structure and order. Everyone seems to have a pleasant attitude ,regardless of what they may be going through in their personal lives, and worK in harmony. Keep up the great worK ! And no offense to any other places, but you don't find that often. It's not easy finding good places that work this way and care about your health and are intentional about how they run their business. I appreciate it, we need more of it ! I would just say slow down while your speaking with a patient so that we can understand you clearly, Lol. Everyone seems to speak fast as if they're in a rush, but I do understand you have to be mindful of the time to move the patients in and out, in time so the employees can get off work ON TIME. 🩷

The nurse practitioner was great! However whoever was training the girl at the front desk with the dreads was so rude! She was getting smart telling me what I was there for. I informed her I made the current appointment because I couldn't make the scheduled year to date and she went word for word with me until I said let me be quiet because I see you got a smart mouth. It's a way to say anything but getting smart and being rude wasn't it for me! She needs to learn how to communicate without being aggressive with a patient.
