Great pharmacy - I've been a customer for quite a long time, maybe 10 years, and they always do their best. and their best is usually excellent. kind compassionate professional and clear.Today, Amanda was her usual best. Thank you, ClearSpring Pharmacy!
While they may be good at compounding medications, they are HORRIBLE AT COMMUNICATION AND WAAAAY TOO SLOW AT REFILLS. We have to start a refill 10-14 days in advance to be sure we get it when needed! You can rarely get a person on the phone, they take days to respond to voicemails and texts (which they encourage you to use), and are often less than caring on the phone. With important things like vital compounded medications they should be better at communication with patients and filling orders more promptly--especially when crucial to the health of the patient.
As a fellow pharmacist, unfortunately I could not recommend this pharmacy for my dog's continued compounding services. We wanted to try a more local pharmacy compared to our previous one on the East Coast for my dog's seizure medicine, but there is a sizeable lack of communication via their RxLocal app, which is my preferred way to communicate due to my work schedule with my own patients. Even modifying the submission of the refill requests to be 1.5 weeks ahead of us running out of medicine has come too close for comfort twice before, and now has led to us missing doses with this current fill's delay. If one does decide to use this pharmacy, I caution one to allow significantly extra time and diligent follow up to make sure things are proceeding at an appropriate pace but we will be going back to our original pharmacy out of state. I wish the best for the staff and hope they are able to improve to prevent future delays for others
This pharmacy is always nice and happy to help. Not to mention they went the extra mile when my hormone cream ran out way early...and it is expensive! I called and asked what to do and they made me a new bottle within a couple days and took care of the situation. So thankful for this place and the kind people who care. Thank you!!!
