I just want to thank all the nurses up in the adult psychiatric inpatient. My family member was there for over 30 days and is now somewhere else 2 weeks later. The care, kindness, and empathy I, and my family member felt from the nurses at Immanuel is night and day from where she is now, which is still CHI affiliated. They went above and beyond for her, and were always so patient with both of us. Thank you so so much for being great nurses, and just amazing people all around. ❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Horrible emergency room experience. The male nurse with the curly mustache jabbed my arm so bad it caused a hematoma. I’ve had over a 1000 blood draws for a disorder and never experienced anything like this.
I had the cops show up to take a report and they were completely unhelpful. They stated it was medical malpractice when the harm, I believe, was intentional. In fact, if it was intentional, it’s assault/battery and the cop was wrong.
The nurse went to a community college for training and was either completely incompetent or was injuring me deliberately by twisting a knot in my vein.
The comments he made during the process was concerning saying “let’s move him higher” when moving my band. An indirect comment to me after mutilating my vein.
I came to UNMC instead which has better cardiology (my initial issue) to treat the hematoma they caused and my chest pain.

The nurses were great as were the physicians that came in and introduced themselves. Overall it was a great experience. The CRNA was wonderful. I think her name was Meghan. Cindy was my nurse and she was great. One stick for my IV. First time for everything. There were others in and out, I can see their faces, but I'm unable to recall their names. Overall as I stated, the hospital part was good. The prep, thats a story for another day.

My first time in Immanuel Procedure Center! What a wonderful experience for me and my family! I had three hernias fixed Thursday and was so fortunate to be surrounded by excellent teams of healthcare professionals: Nurses (Summer in pre-op, Catt who inserted my IV, Ellen in OR, Cat and Miranda in post-op; Surgeon (Dr. Hovey) and surgical Fellow Scarborough; Dr. LeFleure, anesthesiologist and Anesthesia student Hunter. My husband said the unit was so quiet and well-run. I taught Nursing at Creighton for about 40years and my daughter currently teaches there. We were both so impressed! THANK YOU to the front office staff, as well. Excellent teamwork!
