Bliss on Broadway Skin & Body Day Spa

Bliss on Broadway was the only nail salon that I found in the area that has their scheduling and pricing available online. Their staff was lovely, being kind and polite in making sure that I felt comfortable and relaxed while I received my manicure. Akiko did an excellent job on my nails, taking her time and doing things the right way instead of the fast way. My nails look and feel so healthy and the hand and arm massage.... euphoric! I will definitely be back again and for more treatments!

I recently moved within walking distance to this place and thought I would give it a try for a pedicure. I usually go to nail salons off 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, which some of those spots can be good for quick and affordable pedicures, but they always make me feel rushed out of the space and through my service. I've been to Bliss twice now and it truly is a spa-like experience! It's a calm, quiet environment with spa-like music playing, on a corner with lots of windows so it's also nice and sunny in the space. I went for a deluxe pedicure this time to treat my neglected winter feet, and it was the most relaxing hour I've had to myself in a long time! The massage chairs you get to sit in for pedicures are worth the cost themselves! Jade did my pedicure, and she was very gentle and thorough. She didn't talk to me, which I appreciated, as I was enjoying the quiet setting and time to myself, and she really took her time making me feel like I could really enjoy the moment and relax. The extra scrubs, soaks, and callus removal were well worth the extra charge as well - my dry winter feet look and feel brand new, and between the foot massages and massage chair, my muscles got some treatment too! Thank you for the excellent service and environment, I think I've found my new regular spot, and look forward to trying some of their other services as well!

Second visit for the Bliss experience and it somehow keeps getting better. The pedicures are chef’s kiss — skilled, attentive, and done with care. I absolutely love the ladies here; the service is warm, professional, and consistent. The ambiance is calm and relaxing, the kind that makes you forget the outside world. I referred my neighbor and now she’s officially hooked too. Already planning my next visit next month!

I, like many others leaving 1-star reviews for this business, received a gift card earlier this year with a $240 credit. When I arrived at the salon last week, a woman at the front greeted me and asked how I heard about the business. I told her I received a gift card for my birthday, and she then told me they are not honoring gift cards from earlier this year due to “a change in ownership.” She went on to say that they were only honoring gift cards for six months after their ownership change. So now my $240 credit is down the drain. She asked if I still wanted to proceed with my booking, and I agreed because, honestly, I was excited for it. I’ve never had a massage in my life, and it’s been difficult to find time to treat myself since I work two jobs. The woman at the front told me that because of the inconvenience, she would let me use their sauna and red-light therapy room for free since my gift card could not be used. Cool, but that still doesn’t make up for the balance I’ve lost. I went into my room, and the woman doing my service, Sydney, was very sweet. We had a good conversation while she performed my back massage. I then used the sauna and red-light panel for 35 minutes. After I finished, I checked out up front and paid for the massage in full, plus a tip for Sydney. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed with this business. I understand that change isn’t easy, but how is this my fault? With one quick Google search when I got home, I found out that the woman who greeted me was actually the owner. Not sure why that wasn’t mentioned in person while she was actively denying my gift card. After reading other reviews and seeing the responses they’ve received from the owner, Jessica, I think a true “gesture of goodwill” would be to work with the people who have gift cards—not to deny them entirely. I also want to mention that my gift card was bought this year—2025. It’s not even one year old. A six-month extension (from the date of new ownership starting in March) is really inadequate. And how was I supposed to know about this six-month extension in the first place? I really hope the new ownership reconsiders this policy, because refusing to honor existing gift card balances is a terrible way to start off with customers.

I have been going to Bliss for about 5 years and I love the place and the people! It’s a relaxing neighborhood full service salon with excellent technicians! I go to Annie for the best Pedicure ever! I also hosted my daughter’s small wedding shower with all of us receiving the works (facials, massages and mani/pedis. It’s such cute and welcoming place for all ages!
